Why does everyone seem to ride 'main line'? I thought 'the edge' was a bit more challenging??

Try trail of doom, K-hole with one of steep endings, also Shute is a cracking technical track aswell

It's hard to work out which is which. What trail do you start on to get them? Start on the main line and turn off?

Heard a whisper of a help for heroes race on this weekend at hamsterley forest again like last year, is this correct? cannot find confirmation anywhere that there is a race on, looked at loads of race calenders etc.

I am asking purely as a spectator, photographing the event for a twitter page i support that is followed by help for heroes
