Really? My understanding was that the problem was especially bad after the move to Taiwan, and the badly sized bushings resulted in a lot of play between the lowers and stanchions. Was this not the case?
well, i must make up for you. owned 4 sets of zocchi forks, 3 of which have been phenomenal. the first set was an AM4, so that doesnt count. 2 sets of 888s and one set of 66s, all of which have been beautiful to ride. especially the 888s ive got on my demo at the moment.
Taiwanese people are better at making stuff than lazy italians anyway.
Don't forget they're also better than lazy Brits, Swedes, Americans you name it.
Taiwanese people are among the most hard working people on the planet. They don't even have unions, their future within a company is solely based on perfection in their work since a lot of poeple would be happy to replace them for a lower salary.
The RCV damping system is good, i've not experienced it on the 2010 line, but had it on the 2007 888. I enjoyed it, and there was enough adjustability for most people.
