when youre a new parent and spend 25hours a week on the hill & in the woods. Refer everything to trailbuilding when talking about a completely different thing in some social/work related situation.

When you cant sleep because you have an idea you want to try out tomorrow...

Shoveling out the trail a few weeks before the snow starts to melt is the quickest way I have found, takes a lot of work to shovel out a trail though
