i never said it was safe, recommended, or smart. I just stated that it can be done. I'm sure there is the same warning about not using 73mm XT's on 83mm downhill bikes, rawing frames, etc: and people still do it.

Eek Not a 29er. 2010 RM Flatine. The angle does look a bit funny though, and the sun messed up the picture. By the way, I have different pedals on it nowRedface
AND the pedals would be which ones?
Sixty magnesium, in white of course.

Ay Viperda, I think we can all respect the fact you really like retro/original bighit bikes. There is nothing wrong with your taste. Only thing is, this is a very modern, cutting edge, latest and greatest dh bikes thread. If your willing to comply to that idea, and contribute constructively. I think most of us can overlook it. If all you wanna do is go against what the intended purpose is, we KINDLY ask you to please find a thread that suits your style. Thats not hard to do and your not the only pb'er that thinks retro is da bomb. Comprende'?

back onto thread, the RM looks freaking sweet. Normally I'm not a fan, but that is an exception forsure.

Thanks for the compliment! I saw your SX Trail and it is such a legit biketup
Seeing as this is a DH bike thread it is a good place to ask, what was the deal with the proto yeti 303-7?
