such a brilliant bike. It's almost become my 'do it all' bike.

That 165 would be my #1 choice if I were buying a new bike. Looks awesome!

It really pedals surprisingly well. I still have my old 153 for mellower rides, which will be replaced hopefully by the new 134 if the rumors pan out.

I believe it. It's basically a long travel 153, which is always highly rated amongst the swath of enduro rigs on the market. I find it funny that the marketing for the 165 isn't stronger. I haven't seen it in one test, and finding a review online is far and few between. Odd.

I'm still riding out my 167 until the industry settles down or has a definite direction. There is a big push for 29ers again, and with a rise in the popularity of e-bikes - i'll hold out for now.

Thought I would post my Kona Frankenbike. Not much of a looker but I love riding it! I have more fun on this bike than on a progressive geo 29er enduro bike!

Hey, does anyone know by chance what the mounting hardware is needed to install a Fox X2 (205x60) rear shock on a 2018 Kona Process 153 CR DL? Size? Dimensions?

no... i just mounted a RS super deluxe coil on my 18 cr/dl and it needed no new hardware - if that helps at all?
