that fork by the way doesn't have 130mm of travel. i have an 03' dg III and when i took out the guts and compressed it, it stopped half way up the stantions. only like 80mm or so of travel

trust me, it is 130, check the website (not trying to be rude)

Then spend your money having the travel reduced to 100mm. That's the best performance increase you could do. Fix your cable routing.

don't go under the down tube first. just go straight to the first place it attaches.

Look at any picture of any bike on the internet and you should be able to figure out how to route the cable. Hint: You can unhook the cable from the lever by lining up the slots on the barrel adjuster, lock nut, and lever body and pulling on the cable housing till it's far enough out to pull the cable through that slot and unhook it from the lever.

spokes
titanium parts (nuts/bolts, something to brag about)
see if you could get something painted
replace innertubes with high quality ones
cheap new tires
reflectslol

nipples
brake cables
coloured brake covers
new levers
new brakes (might be able to get a pair used)

not bike related

helmet
spandex clothing (check ebay and look at stella's store great stuff for $25)
downhill jerseys
racing socks
suspension warmers (to keep it from getting stiff)

theirs lots of stuff. just look at your bike and say, how can i make this better, and price it out.
