right now we are working on porn rules. For now keep it pg13. I think we will have an updated explanation of what is expected on it soon.

Although this is covered on our rules and guidelines some of you aren't quite getting it.

If you upload any sort of pornography expect to be permanently banned. This is a zero tolerance policy. Pinkbike is for all ages therefore anything that would be rated any higher than PG will be deleted and you will see you banned.

Please don't fave these porn pictures. Anyone caught faving porn will see either a warning or short suspension.

Anyone making comments on porn will also see a warning or suspension. Please just tell a moderator and we will deal with it.

Pinkbike is also NOT for girls in bikinis, lingerie or posing provocatively. Anyone posting inappropriate pictures will also see suspensions.

Thanks,

The pinkbike team

alright, keep it pg as to not condradict. But hopefully that whole post should be revized soon - making it clear how we the moderators will treat this issue.

It's just that something like 25% of the population seems to have poor grammar and spelling so it's hard to know where to draw the line as warning 25% of the population would be rediculous
.
Its ridiculous!
Seems you fall into that 25%, Haha.

I'm just messing with you, I agree with everything really which is being said here, I use to browse pinkbike ages and ages ago but i never really became that active until the past few months.

What maestroforlife said is true about the 3 categories of people.(Sorry i cant remember your name properly) Everyone knows he definately lies within that 2% of pinkbike. Him and malakmaster are probably two people i find the most reliable on pinkbike.
However i think the sometimes people offer help because they want to help however what they offer could be false, and many of us who help others out with technical issues could be just going off personal experience and then they get flamed for their advice.

There is bound to be a time when we're a*sholes every single one of us will be an a*shole at point on pinkbike. Many of us have ego problems and then will defend ourselves with stupid points and flame perhaps, I admit to doing this once or twice over stupid issues but you get carried away. Thats not the problem I think it really is that 10% of people who go on the photo section and flame people saying thigns like "THAT BIKE IS CRAP" and other pointless comments.
What i think when posting pictures if crap... wait If i have a good bike I'm a poser! but if I have a crap bike it means i'm really crap at riding according to 10% of the pinkbike population. Also the 10% also come on the forums and on the mechanics lounge especially leave comments like "haha why are you bothering to repair it, MARZOCCHI'S ARE SHIT FOX 40S!!!!" Yet you look at their profile and they ride Manitous or something so you know their opinion is flawed.

Spelling is irritating because sometimes you can't tell what they're actually trying to say (I'm talking about the people who have English as a first language). They could at least try its not like they are texting a friend. People with English with a second language you cannot really do much about that though, However if people do type properly it could improve their learning of the English language, So really it is a big problem in my eyes.

I still love Pinkbike and some photos or forum posts have me in stitches, its a good community but you are bound to have people who will bring it down! I like what the mods do with the warnings however sometimes I find they are too quick to close a post . Other than that, good job *thumbs up*Salute

One thing I hate about the forum is that you can't voice your opinion without starting a big flamefest, and when people do voice there opinion, you don't have to say it in a bad way. Ex.Instead of saying: Norco's are complete shit, don't buy them because there so shitty, It would be better if you would say something like: Personally, I'm not a big fan of Norco's, but thats just my opinion. I don't see why everyone has to flip out if the see something they don't agree with, and if everyone would take an extra 20 seconds on there post to fix spelling errors, it would make such a difference.
