Questions about a 1x10 conversion

One suggestion I would make to anyone going 1x10 with new components, go with the new XT 11 spd derailleur and skip the goat link or Rad cage altogether. I paid $65 for mine brand new. I also went full 11 spd since I saw the OneUp solutions as economical only if you already have 10 spd... but I took a hard look at both options.
