i have ridden with both halo sas and the new dmr pro dv wheels on my jump bike and never had a problem with either. i would say the sas are stronger but also heavier, i guess it depends what your riding and what your style is.

yeah i have sas and they are quite heavy, yeah granted they have 48 spokes but it is still a bit 2 heavy

I run sas front and rear, yeah they are a bit heavy, but they haven't even flinched and i land sideways far too often...

They are heavier than many rims, but they're not tanks or anything. I love mine and the main thing is they are f*cking strong. If you're not a serious weight weenie you won't mind the weight all that much man. I have SAS front and rear as well.

Yup! couldn't find DMR's weight, but here's some comparisons : Atomlab pimp 24" 656G

well im a 230 lb rider if its like you say i probably wont even notice a difference with lighter tubes and tires plus i need extra stregth with my weight on a rigid i was gonna go for the 48 spoke and maybe some dorty hubs Wink
