A float X2 does NOT fit on a size large, carbon frame, 2020 FEX.
The air can makes contact with the kink in the seat tube a bit before full extension.
I am a bit disappointed, as I was looking forward to the adjustability of it, and now I'll probably have to go with either the stock shock, or the dpx2. Probably the latter.
Dhx2 coil would probably fit, as the diameter might be a bit smaller, but I need to adjust spring rate (air psi) often because I'll put my son on the mac ride, and he adds an extra 35 pounds over solo riding.
Anyone (Mitch?) know what additional hardware is required to mount a DPX2 on a 2019 FEX 9.9 frame?
On a 9.9 that came with the Fox Float, you shouldn't need any additional hardware, just swap your stock shock hardware over to the DPX2 and ride off into the sunset.
