global warming and cooling is a natural part of the earth (what the f*ck do you think started the ice age?) it just cycles over thousands of years warming to cooling to warming etc. what we have done is sped up that natural part of mother nature. we aren't all going to die.

Im not going to arrgue because i dont know wat im twlking about but everyone else says were all about to die wnd gores movie was pretty convincing...

you can use statistics to back up anything. 50% of people know that.

Ok, nobody alive now will be affected by this Global Warming...

Now, about the angry hiker..

yeah it is a natural cooling/heating cycle but we're just accelerating the process.

but in all seriousness, global warming and cooling are completely natural. we have just made it go a little faster. im not saying dump your garbage wherever, f*ck being green, because that is not true. you should still try and be eco-friendly, because pollution is a serious problem, like it is a little harder to breathe (hence problems for olympics in beijing) but its not like the whole world is about to end. extremists groups try to radify statistics and come up with insane theories, while some try to deny global warming. the reality is somewhere in between.

plus, all statistics are biased. earlier, i said al gores house uses about 20x the energy of the average of others. he may use even more energy, he may use less. i assume the statistic i used is fairly innacurate, but it has been proved that al gore uses way more energy than a normal household.

Isn't Spain mandating the use of solar panels on new buildings?

Posted: May 21, 2008 at 22:53 Quote
close, sort of. it is in europe.

There is no completely solar powered country in Europe but Germany is leading the push for solar power.
