big difference between a jackle and a dj bud, gotta think about the hydro form that keeps it from bein raked out

There isn't much of difference between a Trek Jack and a KHS DJ300. So before you get upity check your sources. I have a Trek Jack; not a Santa Cruz Jackel!

I just ordered the DJ300 for a spring build up for a DH/FR HT. The setup will be a Travis Triple Ti, FSA DH PIG Pro headset, Hussefelt stem, Sette Duo 2.5" riser bar, Lizard Skin's Moab Lock-ons, SRAM Attack shifters, Hayes HFX Mags 8", FSA or Bontrager seatpost, WTB saddle, Hussefelt 1.1 crankset, Truvativ Howitzer BB, Truvativ Box Guide, SRAM 8spd cassette, Shimano XT rear derailleur, Alex MX22 rims w/ Shimano hubs, and Tioga Factory DH tires or their Yellow Kurin tires.

So what do you think? I'll post pics after the build. Later - Nate

you'll fukin die buddy, a dj300 will not hold that much travel

Well, I know I've posted my bike up several times. But I finally washed it and got some decent pictures. So this is as of a week ago or so.

I'm planning a few more replacement parts here early this season, namely new pedals and a Chromag Eighty-Eight integrated stem...

That thing is awesome! I'm really impressed with those bikes. Keep us informed and let us know how she rides. I am considering that for my next frame...

I ride a KHS Bitch, sometimes. The lure of cushy suspension is to strong sometimes though. I built this one up a few years ago trying to be cheap, but I ended up with some pretty sweet stuff. Marzocchi Z.1, Hayes one carbon, husselfelts, arrow rims on xt hubs, BMX grips, deore derr and shifter, atom lab stem and a ea50 bar. Not to bad if you ask me. I rattled the frame with glow-in-the dark a few years ago. the paint sucks but it glows nice, and it's just a KHS anyway. Fun bike to ride, a little heavy but that's okay, I'm not much for riding up hills these days. It jumps very nice and gets through the twisties quite nimble. heres a few pics. bottom one glowing in the garage.

^^^ Dude that's aweseome! I have to say that I've never seen a glow-in-the-dark bike before! Good idea. Thoses Bitch's are one crazy frame! It's so weird how KHS had such out there designs across the board, and now all of their frames are pretty standard issue stuff. They did a total 180 with the design department...

That thing is sweet! I've always wondered about those bikes. How does it pedal? I'm assuming it's pretty plush on the downhill...

ya, verry nice on the downhill and its got propedal for normal and you can set the forks to not move so it can be alright for some uphill too! Razz
