Well, if you want to do a little bit of EVERYTHING, go for the SX or the Wildcard for sure.

A couple more options would be:
Giant Reign x
Santa Cruz nomad or bullit (I might be getting a Bullit)
norco 6
Rocky mountain slayer SS
Intense SS

2 cents

Well, the Gran Mal is basically the same as the Blindside, but the Gran Mal has 8.7 inches of travel (a little overkill for me) and the Blindside has 8.1. That's basically the only difference.

and gran mals were way more beefy and from what ive heard they were heavier. i love my blindside. so easy to maneuver despite the 8 inches

I love my bottlerocket. They aren't that heavy, I weighed mine at the bike shop and it tips the scales at 38 lbs, not too bad at all. I recomend the air shox over the coil if you get one. The BR also manuals alot better than other squish bikes I've tried. It feels like it has way more than 5.5" of travel. The craftsmanship of the frame is really good, alot of pieces a CNC'd out of solid chunks of aluminum.

they arent heavy at alllll, you jsut gotta build them right.....mines 34.2lbs
