well, just go for the biggest/best damn fork you can afford, i got lucky and found my totem coil for nearly half the price of a brand new one and it was in new condition, only payed $800...YOU won't be disapointed in the longer travel...

Get something else. Its not worth it honestly. I'd go for a domain, a 55, 66 or totems.

I am now lookig that the NS Surge as it can take 120mm - 160mm travel fork which is perfect for me a when I get the frame i'll either get a 09 318 Domain u-turn or 09 Marzocchi 55 ATA Micro, so has anybody got any pic or experence with a surge?

Surge + Domain should almost look like mine Core with Domain. I love this set.
From those 2 forks I have ridden only Domain. For me it's great fork for that price. It's mine first decent fork and it works perfect for me. But Marzocchi's are know for being super plush.
