shitty, how did you do that ??

i always thought tensioners were really strong till i tried pedal grinding on my mates dj rig and it bent really easily Cool Razz i bent it back and he never noticed so its all good Wink

Ive broken more frames than anything else I think. Im up to 5 and this latest might not last the summer.

rear mech hangers dont last long around me either.

Something hit it and it got a little out of alignment. I kept riding on it and now it's useless.

Something hit it and it got a little out of alignment. I kept riding on it and now it's useless.
Why don't you just get another one?!?

THey cost $80, and I have my deraileur sitting in my garage. I used it on a DH bike, not a DJ/ Street bike.

Hangers....at least it wasn't my frame....

and a pair of RST Forks....spring poped right out of the fork leg as I landed a jump....stripped the threads on the leg cap too..

and gone through a few tubes...chains... shifterpods. and pedals

I seem to slash alot of tires when i ride downhill. ripped a 3 inch hole in the tire. They were some nice maxxis one too.

Spokes, tires, rims, brake cables and cranks. Slope and street take a toll for me on these parts.

Anyway,

Ive done incredibly well this year, so far:
Bent pedal spindles x3
Few spokes here and there
& now on my third chain this year due to breaking/bending issues Blank Stare
And second set of tires.

in 2010 i broke;

both weels boublewides with shimano hubs
crankset bontrager and slx
frame azonic
a few sets of pedals crankbors mallet
boxxer (thats obvious) 2010
headset
shit loads of tires and inner tubes
chains, and focked of a lot of sprockets

this year all new set up with none of the above and every thing is holding up

yep , but i also broke a 3kg aluminium frame, and i wasnt doing anything big either
