I can't find when they open either on their website - friend of mine said May 24 weekend and the repair shop opens May 28th but that's all I could see...

The rotors could be too clean. Run some water over them. Leaves a fine mineral type residue that makes them not squeak.

Yep. Water works good. After the water drys they will hopefully stop squeeking.

take a rag and dampen it with rubbing alchol and rub the rotors, i have ran avids in the past an they tend to sqeek

i tried the water trick today and it didnt work very well. im running a 7" in the rear but i have had a chance to try it out yet as the new brake line hasnt gotten here yet. i was told to try copper anti-seize on the back of the pads.

you'll be fine, i rode on my 130mm fork last year and was pretty brutal but i maybe went like 5 times, have upgraded to a 160mm better quality fork and hoping that is better this year but you should be fine on a pike
