It's just a stock headset bud. The Reign X was 0.5 degrees slacker than the Reign at 67. I'd would definitely try and angle set on yours. Are you Pikes 150 or 160mm?

I also have a Reign SX and I am thinking about installing a 1.5 angleset in order to get a 65 headangle but I am afraid that even though it will most probably handle great when pointed downhill it will not behave well in more technical parts.

its 150 currently. think ill bump it to 160 cuz i need the extra 10mm for some of the trails around here. that doesn't really affect the geo tho, does it? I wanna get the head angle around 66 degrees... don't want it too slack. i still want an all round geo, but aimed more dh. 65 is too slack i think for me

A slightly longer fork will slacken the head angle a little bit for sure. Probably not as much as .5 degree but it would be a start!

2015 Giant Trance 27.5 2. Size large. Looks even better in person. The frame is beefy.

I haven't had it out on the trails yet because of the snow but in a parking lot test the 27.5 wheels obviously feel bigger. Not worse but you can feel the difference. It was especially noticeable when I jumped on my 26" Operator right after to compare the two.

I haven't ridden a 26" Trance but I have ridden a 26" Reign. Not surprisingly the Trance is a lot lighter and it feels more efficient. I'm interested to see how it rides on the trails.
