well, they already have the new Ciphers on their website and we missed this one (I think it's ugly)Unsecure image, only https images allowed: http://www.giro.com/media/catalog/product/cache/7/image/479x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/G/i/Giro_H_Cipher_MatteBlackSplatter_Profile.jpg
If I got a Cipher it would be this one or a matt black and then get decals at the LBS

It's probably good you don't want the first one. After all it is a women's helmet.

Got the same Palmet D3 lid amongst other D3s. Def a flashy and universal color scheme.

Did have that White black and red Giro Cipher, but colour got abit weird, bleached maybe ontop? tbh its probably just dirty but havnt washed it yet.
However when in whistler, got the Fox Rampage Pro carbon at a awesome price compared to what it is in England! paint job ive not seen a hell of a lot either, red black and white model. Then with my Oakley airbrakes and 24kt gold iridium lens (another mega deal!), looks the nuts!

Here are some first day comments on the new helmet...compared to my 2 year old TLD D3 Palmer!
First of all the helmet feels super solid. Weight-wise feels the same as the composite D3 but I don't have a scale to measure both! Just a click wider than the D3, with more goggle clearance. But definitely doesn't look moto, like the Rampage Pro or the Full 9! All the plastics look super strong (D3 glue failed pretty quick in some areas), but what surprised me was the interior padding! It made the D3 look like an 80$ helmet. It felt comfortable even with the new uncompressed cheekpads, while being snug! The cheekpads make you want to sleep on them...
About the camera mount, I can't say anything as I don't own a cam to test it, but it didn't looked it had some play, as some reviews point out! Paint-wise, that was my favorite one, as I didn't like the other ones from the past & the new 2015 collection!
As for the D3 glue issues, the 40 degree celsius of 2 Greek summers, would test the durability of any plastic to plastic or rubber glued together, and that was the D3's only disadvantage! OTBs, branch scratches, drops from everywhere could not hurt it, only the heat!

Fit-wise, my head is 59cm, so at first I was a little skeptical about ordering the Medium Cipher, but turned out to be correct! On the D3,the Large size was also perfect, with both in the first days feeling the pressure of the unbroken cheekpads! From a short ride I did today, the airflow was pretty much the same as the D3, maybe a little more on the upper part of the head...
Finally the thing that i liked most in this helmet, is that you get a fully ASTM certified helmet, with the looks, the features and the comfort of helmets that cost 400-500 Euro, for half of their price!
Hope this review cover what some people wanted to know here!

About the Palmer: those were the sickest D2 and D3 ever... I hope troy lee makes something this year that Palmer is back
About fit and stuff... I can wear a large D3 and I think my head is about 59cm... but! (on the D3) I have 2 really uncomfortable spots on my forehead... do you think I should buy an M giro or a large one?

if you're fast enough, nothing is too flashy... nothing's too pink... I wouldn't mind wearing some helmets that have a little bit of pink in them, I just think that the Giro is ugly...

example of a pink helmet I would wear

If the L D3 was ok then the M Giro will be spot on, on the Giro you don't have this plastic bar attached to the liner to press on your forehead above the eyebrows, so it's even more comfortable! But if you think you could be better with an XL D3, then go with the L Giro definitely!
On the Giro I'll miss the pointy rear of the D3 (looked like you were wearing Batman's DH helmet), generally the D3 is a more aggressive design, while Cipher is a very well designed bucket hahahaha!!!!
