Why don't you get a SS specific rear hub?

Like this...

that's literally the least compatible hub ever.

Oh, I didn't know you had a whack chainline. Haha.

Also, Empire might have those bolts.

well, with an 83mm bb what do you expect? its not that bad, but profiles are the worst with chainline. especially with a driver.

i have bought from them before. highly recommend them.

dont waste your time with the bluesix crap. its way over priced for some bolts. i cant believe people actually pay 20-25 bones for a single pivitol bolt, which in turn is like 5-7 bucks on specialty bolt sites.

I honestly didn't even think about the 83mm bb when I suggested the Profile. I still think you should get a SS specific hub though.

Did you ever consider doing an offset rear triangle or wider rear spacing?

if you get a geared mtb hub with an aluminum freehub body. buy this (you kinda get screwed into buying it):

its pricey, but hell, its the best cog i have ever ridden, and when i took it off my mavic that has an alloy free hub body, it still looked new, aside from the grease.

yep, i did consider both. but opted for a more traditional rear end. the chainline is not that bad. i can use nearly any ss hub, basically any BUT the profile.

I would need a 12t cog... plus i already have a great one. i dont remember which it is, but it is wide.
