you should count yourself lucky there not a jungle of 2 inch saplings that need all there roots digging up to build the trail lol

i go along my trail every week with a big shovel and scrape away all the weeds and grass, try doing that

and keep riding through summer, that is when stuff grows, you ride it and it wont grow

but yeah it's a really good idea , but the trail is finished now so i will ride it everyday , i don't think that there will be any grass growing Smile

what are you riding on..a bmx??lol.
axe them short, near to the ground then just ride it and that'll naturally kill them and nothing will grow back.

how do you guys get the dirt for your trails? like do you have it dumped there? or do you have machinery?

we've had 2 tonnes of top soil dumped for just finishing off the shaping, and packing it down makes it a hell of a lot easier than digging it up.

I'm also considering getting some machinery down for a day or 2 and see how much we can get done.
