I don't think you guys can say how long they last since none of you've tried them.

In one of the articles from a couple months ago, one of the team riders for Odyssey said his rear Pleg had to be changed after 5 months. He said he didn't rotate the peg like he should have. The front was still going fine.

I say just try the Plegs and see how long they last for you, how smooth they grind, the speed they grind, etc. Then if you don't like them put your old pegs back on. It's not like you'd be loosing any money.

This is what I'm going to do. I have high expectations on these pegs. G-Sport won't sell something they aren't happy with, and I'm sure these have took years of designing and testing for a reason. If they flop there will be a V2.

12 bucks a peg is about half the price of a regular peg now adays. I'm down.

Besides, if you do mostly rails and park grinds, i expect they could easily last a season.

your wallet wont be having funWink ...in one year you'll spend 48then another 24 for the orginal pegs so like 72$ in one season...it would be good if you did the occasional smith or double peg grind because you could put a pleg on the front and a reg on the back so you could save weight with half the price...

ONLY if you run 4 pegs and most people dont...

I think I wouldn't go through a set of plegs in a season. That's a lot of work, man.

why only 4?

As it'll cost more. Trying to tell you it won't cost much unless you use a few.

ya but i was stating how much it would cost with 2 pegs not 4...

2 pegs would be 24 dollars
there 12 dollars a peg

and then when you wear down a peg which wont be for a while there 12 dollars for 2 sleves

sean,

he said earlier that you need new sleeves every 3 months(donno if its true) which are 12 dollars a peice and 12 months in a year there for 4 new sleeves every year...which equals 48$

then 48+24=72...

No.

It's $24 for 2 pegs.

So you spend $24 and get the 2 pegs. The next season you spend $12 and get two new sleeves. Not $12 per sleeve.

So really it's $24 for the first season, and $12 per season after that. I can afford $12 a year.

This is assuming they last that long, which will be different for everyone. If a pro can ride one for 5 months I think it will cover me for the season, seeing as half the year isn't ridable weather where I live.
