You'll need a pair of sharp diagonal cutters to modify the star nut. Remove one of the flanges and and make sure you file the neighboring ones down so that they don't cut the hose.

I have this frame as a trail/AM bike with a coil shock — it’s sturdy, very well made, has external cable routing, and looks stunning. Plus customer support is on a league of its own.

Mind that the price is in GBP with British tax. You’ll have it deducted but then your local import tax added. Just contact them before buying to estimate the price better, you’ll be in good hands, no doubt.
