do i need an adaptor? or a new headset?

you need a 1 1/8 headset pending what you are running now. cane creek, fsa, chris king amongs other companies sell them. It may sit you back 50 dollars but this is onlyneeded if you notice that there is alot of play in your steerer tube.

You can get reducer cups (adaptors) E-thirteen makes one, it basically makes your headset work with the smaller diameter steerer tube, but you dont have to change headsets....

im not talking about you...im talking about the guy who has the green and white glory saying that its the one and only thats green and white, not custom painted. A grey one has nothing to do with this!

Having problems with the fork axle coming lose. Help me!!

I have the same bike. When you tighten the front axle you have to keep turning it until it actually "clicks". It takes a lot of force to get there and acts like a torque wrench. I thought I was gonna break mine but it works. "Make sure it clicks to be tight"....hope this helps...chow.
