You know what would be cool? If someone did a 180, started to rollback and then did a flatspin 540 out of it. That would be so sick.

Are you talking bout a fakie 540? Cause I saw a guy do a 180 up onto a curb then f*cking fakie hop a 540 back onto the street. It was f*cking nuts...not even a comp just a huge ass group ride in Oakland CA

Yeah I guess that's what I mean. That's pretty sick. I'm trying to get 180 hops on and off curbs dialed right now but it's hard because I can't fakie for shit. Also, the bike I'm riding is heavy.

I had rolbacks way before 180's. I was learning abubaca's, and needed them to get out with, then i got the half cab's. I just didnt have the upper body strength because I was too young. Actually, I wouldn't really say I can flatland 180, last time I got one I was on my rear brake and looped back.

rollbacks first. i just went up to curbs or walls, endoed up against them, then shifted my weight back, and started to roll back. then i learned how to 180 off a jump. and now i can half cab flat.
same here, except I haven't tried 180s yet

same with me, i can rollback easily but still can't get all the way around on a 180, i can spin about 130 degrees on a good try

rollback came first. i used to just go up to curbs and walls, rest the front tyre on them, then pull back and try and fakie as far as i could. then i just did 180s in to them, just remember to pedal backwards when you land (sounds stupidly obvious but its good to have it in your mind when your doing it)

Well i kinda learnt both at the same time. I just tried some rollbacks in the skatepark. Then hopped on my mates small trick bike, and did a 180. I can get 180 but my foot comes off on my bmx, sometimes the bike makes the turn but i dont. Suppose i've gotta just keep practising.

i can nearly roll back on banks and that, and i can only get 90 degres when doing a flatland 180
