I ride a Demo 7 1. Had it 18 months now. As stock bike I give it 8.5 out of 10.

With upgrades it`s now 9.5 out of 10. Not sure what would push it to 10 as I`m happy with the set up now. Possibly a Fox 40 but the 66 has been awsome on this bike.

One instance of your friend screwing up a jump and that's you point?

I've ridden SP bikes and bikes with linkage, and if you're landing so far sideways that you're breaking linkage, you're going to break the rear end of the SP as well.
im not just using one instance, it was just A example.

This is a pretty cool idea for a thread.. I've thought long and hard and here it is.

Frame: 7Point - 7/10 - It would be a 9 because it does ride amazing. But with no warranty I can't rate it higher than a seven.

Fork: Totem Solo Air - 10/10 - Light, adjustable, and feels completely awesome.

Brakes: Avid Codes - 10/10 - Incredible stopping power and modulation. Couldn't ask for more.

Stem: Diabolus D2 - 10/10 - Looks sick with BMX styling. Strong and made by Raceface.

Headset: FSA BFP - 6/10 - Unsealed and average. It works but nothing spectacular.

Bars: Evolve DH - 8/10 - There are better out there but they feel awesome and look good.

Grips: Ruffian - 10/10 - My favourite grips, thin profile and knurled pattern = perfect.

Crankset - Evolve DH - 8/10 - Once again there are better cranksets but there is definitely nothing wrong with the Evolve.

Chainguide - E13 SRS+ - 10/10 - Light as hell and works like a charm.

Saddle - Purve V - 8/10 - The only seat for me.

Seatpost - EA30 - 6/10 - Meh, but it works.

Levers - Straitline - 10/10 - Look and work awesome.
Pedals - Straitline - 10/10 - See above.

Derailleur/shifter - X9 - 10/10 - They have been absolutely flawless.

Wheels - WTB Laserdisc - 8/10 - If i had my way I would have Deetrax but a could deal and an above average wheel is hard to turn down.

Chain - 991 - 10/10 - one down from the hollowpin. Strong and flawless.

Cassette - Sram - 7/10 - Midrange.

Tires - Intense FRO lite - 9/10 - I really like these tires, i can cut much harder than ever before.

TOTAL!!!!: 87/100

God I'm a dork for putting this much info in.
