I wear my full face DH helmet when DJing and riding street, as well as for actual DH and FR
I only ever wear my 'spiked-hawk-half-lid' when I ride flowbowls.
And as for no helmets... only when I'm walking, or slowly riding back to the trailhead.

Helmets are super cool.
Unless they're XC helmets.
Those are just brain buckets.

if by lid then you mean helmet then it's a stupid idea.
but if you mean a bin lid then its probably alot cooler not to wear one

ive got that helmet its actually rather nice better vented than my old fox xc lid and it weighs a lot less as well and if you wear it you wont lose it XD
