I have ridden both and prefer my 40's, only one problem though...

I run as little rebound as possible and I have found that if you run less than 6 clicks of rebound and use all 8" properly then you will find over a period of 2 - 3 weeks you are only getting 7" of travel. This is because you have blown the bladder seal, happens to me all the time.

I got this confirmed by Tim Flooks.

i love my Boxxers. i have also riden my friends 40s for a while and had to replace the seals twice. fox requires wat to much work for the out come

yeah gotta replace the seals in the 40s way to many times compared to boxxer
