I see alot of you guys saying "oohh oohh DJs are crappy get argyles!!11!" but just try to remember this thread is DJ3 vs DJ4. Yes we all know its not a top range of dirt jumping fork but maybe they are his only options. If you dont have a useful opinion keep it to yourself?

it usually comes down to spelling because they cant think up anything more intelligent to say

as for the trend whores that say all dj series forks are no good you should stick your heads back in the toilet and soak them a bit longer....i cant comment on the dj2 through 4 but the dirtjump 1 is a solid fork and im a 200+ lb rider and ive had no problems with them
From what i've heard the DJ2-4 are alot different from the Dj1

The fox 831 is $1500 canadian, and the only reason they hate it is because the front hub has to be 15mm.

I wouldn't be bragging about the price your getting it for for all ya know guy from the shop might see ya post and bam no more good deal...Happened to my buddy once before, also the 831 is designed to work only with 15mm hubs they have a mount that prevents the use of a 20mm reducer.

that 1050 is the stores price, no deals from my LBS. and im not talking about a reducer, im talking about an actual 15mm adapter that you swap out for your 20mm

You cant they ONLY work with 15mm.

how does that work? if the adapter is the same size as the 15mm hub it WILL work

if you guys are spending 1000 plus dollars on a fork why wouldn't you buy a 36 float and lower it?
