Haha thats actually such a sick bike. I kept the pedals from my cannondale to remember it. Going to keep them forever to remember my first proper mtb.
05 Specialized Hardrock Sport, then 06 Specialized P.2, then 07 Specialized P.1, then 08 Trek Fuel EX8, then 09 NS Traffic. I have probably spent over 10k in bikes and parts.
Haha yeah i know the feeling. I started with an 08 Giant Reign X1, then got an 08 Giant STP 1(mostly custom now), an 08 Giant Trance X1, then got an 09 Giant Reign X0(completely modded, worth 7-8 grand). Next year im ditching all the parts I cant switch over from my reign frame, and the frame and getting a Glory frame with a Boxxer world cup, deemax, etc. and picking up an 09 Anthem X1 or X0.
My Ironhorse MT75...and Im keeping that frame for life dudes....I hated that bike...but some of my best memories are on it come to think of it, and deep down inside i love her Another bike I'm goint to cling my grubby little paws onto for life is my Commencal Supreme DH.....I'm never going to find a bike like that again....they just dont make em anymore....the new ones are great sure, but very different...theres something magical bout the supreme DH, the way it rides and the way it feels....maybe its just cause its my first like REAL bike (ironhorse is iffy) or something but I love her to.
Sweet memories......my first mountainbike was a cherry red 93/94/95 Gary Fisher Montare (can't really remember the year). I had it stock for a while, rigid fork and platform pedals with straps. But then, whoa...
I pimped it out with an AMP suspension fork (not the one with carbon legs), Machine Tech canti's and Speedplay clipless pedals.
