just over 1,000K for me... not too bad considering my wife and I had our first baby in April. Looking to get at least another 1,000 in before the snow flies. Indoor trainers suck!
well I did it, the route was exactly 105 miles and I did it in a time of 6:08, pretty proud of that, I got through four bottles of sports drink and 9 iso gels, probably should've taken on a few more carbs but I was too busy trying not to think about the route, the course itself was very hilly, several real burners of around 14% so on each proper climb we were there for about 15 minutes in the highest gear available (for me a 36-25) but yeah, really great day and 100 mile number 2 is coming up in september!
sportive, only dabbled in racing, but I just don't think i'm aggressive enough for it
Congradulations, nice work. You averaged about 17.5mph with steep climbs so you should be proud of yourself. I haven't done a century yet this season, I did in metic (km) but a lot less miles then you. LOL Keep training and your next 100 will be even easier.
