I know they fixed a lot of the problems they had with the older ones, not ridden one but I know they're crazy light.

I just built a 2013 Phantom,
first ride today an its an AWESOME bike for the money, looks like the head tube gusset from the 2012 has been removed for 2013, replaced with a hydroformed one piece downtube/headtube junction

As for the ride,
the rear end is VERY short for a 4X frame, very snappy and powerfull out of the gate an pedaling out of berms but, quite tweaky almost like a DJ rear end. ET'ing over jumps made the rear fish tail ! took some getting used to but, all good once i did

an impressive frame for a very low price

Here is mine, Stone Edge

On of the sexiest bike on the slopes, for me. A dream since I was a child. You love or you hate.

So much fun on trails, little less on bmx track (chainstay at 415mm, lil bit too long for me to do fast manual)

Old french frame Stone Edge Kickdown So much fun so stable nice geometry
