Kinetic, have you thought about Campagnolo for the T2? I think a Veloce group would jive well with it.

I have but they're fecking expensive Eek I'm really on a budget so I'm not sure whether I could afford it Frown

It's affordable if you look around. I see used 9 speed Veloce groups for around $200. The major difference is Campagnolo offers every repair part imaginable. If you break something you'll be able to fix it. Shimano components are disposable.

Ahh ok, well I'll keep them in mind as I might have the money in the future to buy a Campag groupset.

It's just something to think about.

Totally agree I had my eye on the Veloce not long a go I might be able to find a deal too if I keep my eye open, I would rather have Campag than Shimano to be honest.

So, I feel like finishing up my Guerciotti soon. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions. The italic parts are going to be replaced for sure.

Some nice metal toe clips with leather straps would go along way, something Italian I guess, or get MKS to match your pedals. Were you hoping to go with a more modern wheelset? You wheelset seems pretty good, are the hubs Record? If your not satisfied, get some Shamals!

Yes, I'm definitely going to get some good metal toe clips, maybe mks, maybe campagnolo. I do want to get some nice leather Silva straps though. The reason I want new wheels is because the braking surface is worn on the ones I have and the hubs are tanks. I might just be rebuilding the hubs on some new rims to save some cash. Shamals would be my dream wheelset for this bike! I'll definitely grab some if the price is right.

Those Shamals are grimy
