does anybody know if 2007 fox 36 van lowers are made of magnesium or aluminium as I want to get them anodised

I would say 99% they are probably magnesium. Most are.

Ok thanks and magnesium cant be anodised right?

You can but it will be expensive and might not look good. It will probably look dull.

Yup, you could do that. Just make sure you remove the inner seals, foam rings, and possibly bushings if you do that. White spirit / mineral spirits / stripper will dissolve a lot of rubbers and foams.
