A 1986 Miyata Streetwinder, a fully rigid, all-steel bike. I loved it, but ended up killing it in the long run. Cracked the drive-side dropout in about 1989, had it brazed, and broke it again in 1991, riding in traffic, and it stopped me dead in my tracks. That’s not something you want to experience! Seriously.
I replaced it in 1993 with a beautiful deep purple Tech Pro, which I upgraded with a Rock Shox Quadra 21R. So high tech! Too bad it got stolen a couple of years later...

Idk if it really counts but I had a Cube AIM with white wall tyres. Then got another Cube AIM. Then my Dad got another Cube AIM. And then I got what is basically a souped up Cube AIM (cube reaction). I no longer like Cube AIMs

Jeebus, Mary, and necrothread, that was a solid bump. I think I still had the bike below back when this thread was last active Eek

I started riding on regular old store bikes, a couple Ralleigh M80s I think, which I consummately destroyed trying to dirt jump and street ride them. Eventually I built up my first bike, an Azonic Steelhead, which I also completely destroyed in a matter of months. By the end of my sophomore year in HS I finally cobbled enough dollarydoos together to build this 35lb beast, an oldschool DMR Rhythm that I eventually modified to run 26s. God this bike was amazing.
