granted frame warranty is alway's good but it won't make the bike ride any better.

most bike's nowaday's will last regardless, the lifetime warranty only cover's the bike if it fail's due to mfg mistake's it's not covered for wear and tear or snapping when you try a 20 meter drop.

scott it seems to be better as we can see from the parts from the specialized but you know i heard that specialized has a full life quarantee an scott only for two years...
i ll learn and tell u about it
no specialized doesn't if u read it it says only if you keep indoors basically

spesh only warrants the front triangle, u get the bro price on any moving parts(linkages/chain stays and stuff) that and u cant re-paint it/ raw it, kinda silly but thats the way it is, the specialized also doesnt have an interupted seat tube so ur not stuck running a 6 inch section of post(if u put your seat up for some riding around)

Hi guys, I recently bought the Scott FR30... Ii havent raced DH for almost 3 and a half years so aint 100% on the Specialized... but the Scott seem extremely goood value for money. and im more than happy with it. I bought the short version, and it seems perfect for DH... but it all comes down to riders preference...
