It hit -45 here a few days ago thanks to the windchill. Been mostly around -40 however.

Yeah, they were saying yesterday that Edmonton (20 minutes away from me and I assume we're talking about the same place) was the coldest place in North America and second coldest place in the world.

get your facts straight guys. the record lowest temp. in calgary is -45C and edmonton is -47C.

They're probably adding in the windchill. Anyone who's from a cold climate knows the windchill is more deadly than the actual temperature....
