Posting my '01 Bullit. I fully repainted and rebuilt this bike from the ground up! Rides just as good as any modern MTB.

2001 Bullit, powder coated White in 2003, after 20 years it has aged better than it's rider.

I purchased the 2001 frame Large used in 2003 from a Pinkbike Buy Sell ad. It was light blue and the rear end had been sanded down to bare aluminium. I had the frame powder coated white and built her up from there. It has aged better than the rider.

Hello all, just picked up this Santa Cruz Bullit (1998-2001)and I'm unsure of the exact year. Does anyone know what year it is? Also, I want to replace the fork with a stiffer air fork, as this spring Manitou is way to soft. Does anyone have any ideas or have any forks that would work? 1 1/8 straight head tube, and I need a minimum of 22 cm(8.6 inches). Let me know what you have!

My New Santa 2011 Cruz Bullit

Cool bullit :-). I'm still amazed how the frame rides. It is great for trail riding and can be built up light.

Sweet.

Update, I've been riding my hardtail so much that the Bullit just sits. Great bike though :-)

Might have to find it a new home. I have 2 full sus now that I don't ride.
