Yeah, that's what I got told by a friend. But now that I have looked into it, they should be fine with pretty much any mid BB. And no, it's just a normal bmx frame that I am building up for mainly steet use

Give your friend a slap, they will work with any 19mm BB.
I've been going on Danscomp and entering to win Tony Neyer's bike. Then I watched the video and he said he's giving away his actual personal bike. So if I win I guess I'll be getting a clapped-out, completely thrashed, ridden to with an inch of its life bike ridden by a super burly guy. Plus the TT will be like an inch too long for me. Oh well, free shit is free shit.
Can anyone here hop whip? I'm getting really close, like I catch them to the seat and one pedal, or maybe one foot is on a crank and one dabs the floor a touch before I roll out. Or I catch and then just stack cos I dont have my balance properly. Same happens with downside whips on banks and stuff.
Someone give me tips on catching hahaa, do you actually look at your pedals? Or just sense where they will be? When I throw a crankflip or something I usually glance down, but that's harder when the bike is spinning round.
I also find it hard to force myself to go front foot catching first, any ideas on how to make that happen?
