What is better for cranks saint or holzffeler?

I like the holzfellers better, don't you need a special bottom bracket to work with saint cranks?

BB is included...

Yeah, but isn't it a different spline than a standard ISIS?

Isis sucks... Small bearings, spline wears down everytime you remove it... Shitty

id say get totems, x.9 cos shimano is rubbish and x.0 is over rated and get saint cranks cos there the only good thing to come from shimano

saint cranks are better, lighter, and stronger. They use external BB cups and are 2 piece cracks which means that the spindle is fixed to the drive side crank arm, making a lighter stiffer and stronger crank set. External BB and stronger stiffer and last longer. GET SAINTS. But if you can later on get some race face diabolus x-type bottom bracket for your saints.

From what I know, Shimano bottom brackets last longer than Race Face ones

not sure where you heard that from because thats not true, raceface did tests on all of the top of the line DH cranks and and BB's. And raceface was number one in all of the tests. If i can find the results i will show them but they was an article about it.

shimano bb tend to break easily because the bearings they use and the sealing methods they use arent good. I had a saint bb before and had to replace the cups and bearings 6 times in 1 season. Changed to raceface and havnt had 1 rpob yet in 4 months, plus they have the bling factor ;-).

Yah what's the point of a study if ur just comparing ur products against ur competitors products. What company would be stupid enough to say that their cranks weren't the best on the market. You wouldn't want to make urself look bad, so that study proabaly means nothing.

Thanks all!!!
I just want to say that I bought RS Lyrik(i am afraid from this fork because it is 2-step,but i got it on a good deal and will hope that will not make me bullshits!),saint hubs and I bought Sram X.9 shifters and derailleur, but i also bought shimano saint rear derailleur which was included in the saint hub set.
Now I am wonderin what to choose X.9 or saint(i can sell one of them for the price that i bought)?
I definetely will try to find good deal for saints!
No body said something for the rims.Does somebody has experience with the french rims MACH1?I can get them twice time cheaper than others. What do you think?

it means a lot. They performed a multitude of tests, and they performed them on the cranks until they broke. Listen this isn't a discussion about what company makes the best cranks, its all depends on the application you use it for. I mean you dont need the strength or stiffness that a diabolus crank offers to be set. Saints are perfect for DH racing and free riding.

Heres another test... Holzfeller is the strongest followed by Saint then diablous. Guess who carried out that test > Truvativ

Doesn't mean much...its much stronger than what 99% of people can get away with
