sorry your wrong. do some research on the VQ engines, not only i read an article in an important mag confirming exactly what i said just the other day. if you want i can photo copy it. you will not make barely any power from bolt ons to the g35 350z motors sorry.
I would like to see it. I have never seen a reputable magazine try and claim that what you get from the factory is essentially the pinnacle of performance.
I'm sure even with subtle modifications, Ferraris can go faster.
once again your missing the point. i am not claiming that what nissan and infiniti are sending out is the peak pinnacle of performance, but rather bolt ons arent going to do you much good on those specific engines, for whatever reason.
Up till about October last year i was hacking round in my baby. A 1990 Nissan GTiR. I did a bit to her but she was my daily driver so i kept her civil...but she was still pushing 300hp at all 4 wheels.
But as i got tired of spending every 2nd weekend under the car to keep her running as she should i sold her for a truck...which is great as i dont have to perform cycle-oragami everytime i wanna go riding.
Anyway...here she is on one of her good days. Racing at an all Nissan drag meet. And i wont bore you with all the specs.

No matter what engine you're talking about, bolt-ons rarely make large gains. Contrary to published claims of 15-30hp gains, most import exhaust systems only produce single digit gains. The same goes for intakes. So to sum it all up, its no different than most engines out there. If you want to make big power gains, you have to dive in deeper than bolt on stuff you get from Pep Boys.
What you gain from a smoother flowing exhaust is efficiency, not power.

well draco did just post a dyno sheet of a 20.4 hp gain from just an exaust upgrade... i agree you wont see large double digit gains, but it is unusual to only see a 1 whp gain or none at all.
I've posted my car on pinkbike before but I guess it won't hurt to post it here again as I see there's a few vw/audi fans. 96 jetta with an audi 1.8T swap. One of 2 mk3's with this engine swap.

I bought the car with the swap but I did all the other work such as rims, headlights, taillights, grill, interior etc.

Im not quite sure yet is this supposed to look nice?

By nice do you mean high resolution? I think so. I didn't take the picture, I know nothing about photography. This was at a car show, someone else took it and e-mailed it to me.
I'll retract my "complete lack of knowledge" remark since you're at least willing to ask...
It's VW's 6 cylinder motor. 200 horsepower or so. I don't think it's a traditional layout and I'm not sure what layout it is, but it is a six-cylinder that was in the Scirocco.
