I'm not sure if you check through the pictures posted, but the biggest rideable step down is 15-25 foot gap 10-15 foot drop. It all really depends on how fast you go because they are all endless transitions. There is a 35+ foot one that is not currently rideable.

Here is a old ass pic of the biggest current rideable step down.

I hit them on my custom Norco 125. The picture above was when I had my 04 norco 4hun back in 2005. A few of the other locals have hit them on hard tails and the majority would be squish.

I wouldn't say it would be overkill. It would just mean you could hit it alot more times without getting worn down. I can only afford to have one bike thus I have a hard tail. If I had a squishy I would probably use it for most of the stunts there.

Lucky you. I remember the days when I was in school and could get out that early... I'm at work until 5 and then I have to commute home. I'll probably be there around 6 or so.

Thanks to Shore21 for coming out and lending a hand. We got alot done and the first jump is ridable now. It still needs more dirt to make the landing steeper, but it will do for now. The second berm is pretty much buttoned up as well. Just a small patch to dig out to build the step up across the path and it's pretty much good to go.

The picture doesn't really do the jump justice. It's pretty darn steep.

The second berm is looking pretty good.

Looking back on the landing you can see where I added to the lip. The landing needs to be increased to match up with it.
