Hey I’m curious if you guys know where I can get a 600 and 650 pound spring for a 2017 v10cc? Are correct length coils possible? I’m worried about coil bind or damaging the bike when it’s fully compressed! Would running the dhx2 float be a better option since I could run 300psi? Thanks! Cheers
Also would it be possible to run 26" wheels on the 2017 v10? Fall of 2019 ill be getting the 2019 v10, think 26" wheels would work on that bike? I know its a odd question. Thanks

Seeing as it will almost certainly be a 29er frame I would say no
New bikes look clean!!! Thankfully they kept making the 27.5 The new chainline looks much better, loving the internal cables and the downtube pad was a good idea.
Email to post@pinkbike with the addy you signed up with then copy the numbers of that URL and then click the 4th button in from the left and paste there.

Could you provide the fox ID code from the shock?
DC7H is on the shock. Thanks!

To everyone out there compressing their springs with zip ties to get them on the shock: DON’T or do so at your own risk knowing this could lead to catastrophic failure. Fox has told me this is extremely unsafe and should not be done. Give them a call for anything 550# or above and they will provide you with the right part number. In my case I needed to switch to SLS part number (033-22-038 ) with code DDWR.

So I was able to source a 2.8 x 650 pound spring. It was a little hard to install but it isnt bottoming out the preload ring on the shock. It fits loose and only requires a few turns to make it snug. Seems pretty good so far.
Kurt1980, thats pretty rad that 26" fit. Once I upgrade to the 2019 v10 ill make sure to get the fox float x2 air shock and slap on some 26" wheels. Thanks for the help everyone.

im selling a 2019 fox float x2 for a v10.6 not sure if the older models use the same size 8.75x2.75 used for 2 days, dry conditions, couldnt even tell it was used, if any body is interested https://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/2498607/
Does anyone know if they sell Fox SLS springs that run at 600lbs x 2.75?
Is it for a dhx2 on a v10.6? For my 2018 I was told by fox to use part # 033-22-038 which is a 600 lb sls spring. When you look it up you'll likely be thinking "that can't be right" as it is labeled as a 600lb 2.9" eye to eye 74mm stroke. I assure you Fox was correct and it fits without hassle. The key is that the spring needs to have an overall length no greater than 5.9".
