Anyone here running both 203mm rotors on their bike? In order to get 203mm on the rear is it just a case of adding more spacers to the current brake mount? It's integrated with the frame.
based on commencal's tech sheet you can run max 180mm rear rotor size

Thanks man - that's really annoying.

Damn, good thing I didnt buy that 203mm rotar then. I have one on the front and it made a substantial difference. However I will have to upgrade the Formula rx at some point

Don't see why you can only run 180 on the rear. Just an adaptor would be alright

The rear mount is integrated into the frame - it's not just an adaptor as far as I can tell hence why I thought spacers would just solve it.

Am I being stupid?

in my opinion it's not problem with adaptor. but that bigger rotor will touch the chainstays. I didn't try it so I can be wrong. if you already have one 200mm rotor, you should try if it will touch the frame.
But commencal itself recommend max 180mm size as you can see there - http://www.commencal-store.co.uk/frame-meta-sx-26-2014-c2x12501910

Anyone on here tried using 650b wheels on the sx? Can't afford the full change, but wondered if anyone had tried ☺️

Unless you have the 650b frame there's no chance, the clearance on the back tyre is way to tight

i converted my Trek Slash 26 to 27.5 and it fit!. what i mean is half inch only is added from 26 to 27.5 not 3/4 of an inch. if the trail is wet and muddy then...

Is it possible to put the chainstays from the 650b sx onto a 26er? Has anyone done this? Have thought about doing changing to get the piggyback compatible chainstays.

If you change to the 650b chainstays you'd also have to change the seatstays and rocker link too, otherwise you'd completely mess up the suspension (travel, kinematics, etc... would change). Also I think the front triangle is slightly different on the 650b version too.

Yep the 650b is 1 degree steeper head angle.

Anyone successfully mount a piggyback shock on a Meta V3 frame? Thoughts are that you can even though they state they are not piggyback compatible. Reasoning is the new Meta SX V3 comes with a piggyback shock but they also state it is not piggyback compatible.
