Made the decision already...moved to YT Tues a few days ago, full on downhill bike I have only good things to say about the Meta, but downhill seems more appealing to me, especially since my wife got a Kona Operator. So take good care of your Meta SXs, they are great bikes!
If you love the Meta SX 26 but want 650B then the choice is clear... get the meta SX 650b. I have the 2015 650b version and it is awesome. I see they are doing a 2017 SX 650B version too so get on it.
so, if you were to change your Meta SX for a new bike.....what would it be and why?!
Probably a Santa Cruz Bronson or Hightower. The Meta SX is a great bike that shreds the downhill, but I'm finding myself wanting a bike that's more capable of climbing while still being able to handle downhill sections with ease.

I've cleared stuff on my SX that I couldn't do on my old Slayer. I think fitness has a lot to do with it though.
Do you know which rear coil shock despite die Inline Coil would fit in the Meta SX? Im deciding between tuning my Debon Air Monarch Plus or getting a new shock.
Iam at the Eurobike next week and I will ask cane Creek about the db coil IL in a Meta sx. I also will measure the extent. Any ideas what else to ask them?
So I ordered myself the EVOL can for my float CTD. It fits perfectly. I have no issues apart from about 1mm of paint. So just to be on the safe side, I grinded it down about 1cm and used nail polish to fill in the paint.
