XC is awesome when it involves more than dirt roads, though I kinda push it too hard on the downhills, might not last long lol

I have a little route 40 km long, it is really good but I don't have a bike for it, it has steep stuff that is dangerous with the shit I have for XC I'm thinking of getting a decathlon bike(wal mart bike for american people)

Decathlon is really hardly walmart bike, some of them are santa cruz "copies" very similar geo, with heavier tubing, and they don't ride bad, pretty good bang for your buck considering 1000€ on a decathlon bike comes with much better everything albeit heavier frame than a 1000€ specialized, you can switch the frame later on to a more known brand and have much better parts that if you got it stock.

The only problem I find on decathlon amando is that some of their parts are made with sizes that only they use, I've seen kid bikes rolling on ijcredibly weird wheel sizes, but I'll have a look at one of them
