I went through a mag on a Eagle, super fun, but just not really worth it in my eyes. Theres louder guns that make bigger holes for less. I don't see a reason to own one.

Not to mention that if you dont hit what your aiming at the first shot the recoil sends the muzzle so far up in the air it takes about 4 seconds to line up another shot

Yea, I didnt wanna admit I only hit 3 times out of a mag. Haha. The first shot, and the last 2 in the mag cuz I lined everything up instead of just listening to thunder.

That's sweet, Ive always wanted to work in a gun shop but I look so young people tend to not take me seriously. That issue is posing lots of problems for any job really.

Well, I'm starting in the Optics and knives section. Like you said they were looking for old crusty guys at the gun counter. Its a brand new store so they are going to cross train me on guns and then if they need more people at the counter I'll get transferred over there.

That's still pretty sweet and you'll move up eventually. Congrats man.

I really wanna get good at long distance shooting. Unfortunately I dont have a 700 yard shooting lane out my back window anymore.

Yea, I want something long long range. I took a 350lb blackie last fall out at 650 yards almost exact with a friends 7mm. Best feeling ever. My .22WMR just wont do that hahaha. I don't even think I'd tag 650 with it at all.

I think the first gun I buy in my own name will be a 10/22 just to mess around with.
Now that I work at wholesale I get some pretty neat gun opportunitys. Since they dont have a huge mark up on guns what many manufactures will do is you get to buy one or two guns a year at below cost so roughly 50% of the retail price. Browning also has once in a lifetime deals, I'm not sure how good they are but if you can only buy one gun in your entire life at that price they must be almost giving them away.
