thats damned cool i wonder if this counts. its my new "jolicloud" install, a web-based OS for netbooks and naturally its linux based but i dont claim to know the slightest thing about linux although i love it so far, maybe ill get something more featured in time to come.
cloud based is cool but any striped down os will work quicker on a netbook, ubuntu's netbook remix is cool but you can go slimmer than that, but i say try meego (always use live cds/usbs to try) its made but nokia an intel, i beleive its debian based so there should be up to 18,000 app, games etc
anyone use 'fence' from object dock? looks like this:Unsecure image, only https images allowed: http://www.technobuzz.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/fences_image.jpg
i used to but, the only fenceable icons i use are my games and they all come in the xfire pop up menu, firefox, ati catalyst, and explorer are pinned to my bar which i can access with windows already up and i have rocketdock on my desktop with the only programs i might ever actually use, so when i turn on my computer depending on what im doing i could open up say, firefox and mediamonkey, or cinema 4d and photoshop, or auditon and vegas.
