thats damned cool Big Grin i wonder if this counts. its my new "jolicloud" install, a web-based OS for netbooks Razz and naturally its linux based but i dont claim to know the slightest thing about linux although i love it so far, maybe ill get something more featured in time to come.

cloud based is cool but any striped down os will work quicker on a netbook,
ubuntu's netbook remix is cool but you can go slimmer than that, but i say try meego (always use live cds/usbs to try) its made but nokia an intel, i beleive its debian based so there should be up to 18,000 app, games etc

sweet, i still use local files on it since i cant stand using the cloud for my pictures, music etc Razz

I'm put off be them because you are trusting someone else with your stuff and in the end you really have no control over what they do with it

i used to but, the only fenceable icons i use are my games and they all come in the xfire pop up menu, firefox, ati catalyst, and explorer are pinned to my bar which i can access with windows already up and i have rocketdock on my desktop with the only programs i might ever actually use, so when i turn on my computer depending on what im doing i could open up say, firefox and mediamonkey, or cinema 4d and photoshop, or auditon and vegas. If you think that is cluttered, you need to see my desktop.
