2011 Coilair on a diet.

Easton Haven cockpit
XTR Trail groupset
Mavic Crossmax SL wheelset

Should be around the 14kg mark....

edit weighed it today at 14.22kg with pedals...so a sub 14kg bike is def possible without using Carton>

Planned upgrades is different seat seatpost combo and going tubeless.

I think you need a new stem, otherwise that bike is looking brilliant! I really like the bars, and use a lot of superstar's stuff myself so I like it Razz Salute How're you finding the avid 5s? I have a pair sat waiting for new hoses and a bleed, stoked to see how they'll be when sorted!

They're awesome, only properly used them twice but need new pads which should come tomorrow and can't wait to get them fitted as the ones which are on are a bit worn down, so hopefully that will give me mote braking power. Thanks for the compliment on the bike, I think it'd suit a new frame better but hopefully will be getting a new frame at the end of august so may get one then, maybe a dh one

I saw you in whistler on Sunday! I thought it was kinda odd having a white chain stay with a gold frame

Haha really? i found cracks in my chainstay two days before i moved up here, and my shop back home had kona send a new chainstay to tantalus in squamish and it was there when i came into town, but they sent the wrong color... at least it matches the rest of the white bits.
