Although the front triangle on them was indestructible, the chainstay was always their Achilles' heel.

I wish I still had pictures (or the bikes for that matter) but 2 of my first bikes were a '99 VPS-1 and VPS-2.

Both VPSs I ended up trading away because I couldn't even get $400 despite the one having a brand new $250 shock on it.

0 cuz big ass forks are gay on bikes that are meant for no more than 7 INCHES of travel and the steerer will ovalize your headtube after prolonged use
