And someone change the name of this thread to "duscuss your weight weenie street bikes".

I think i have only seen about 5 bikes on here.

Little hypocritical there. The OP wanted to see weight weenie street bikes. Title seems pretty straight forward. The Scott was well built and should be posted, just not in this thread. That Banshee looks amazing, they really are deviating from their past.

Thats just the thing. No one has true weight weenie bikes. If they did they would always break. I think around 29lbs is enough to be considered a weight weenie street bike.

You've never ridden a 25 pound street bike, have you?

no 29 is a weight weenie, not street...the part of street means ss and rear brake only...

Haggisonabike, while I do agree with you, I have a weight concious DH bike that weighs 35.5 pounds (9 inch travel). With the addition of a Boxxer WC, and a lighter front brake I could lose two pounds and still have a reliable bike. You can't tell me that even the lowest denomination of weight weenie would think 29 pounds it is light.

If he uses it for street then it is his street bike!

Then it's not a weight weenie street bike.

Well then it has got to be said. This thread is kinda stupid. A bike does not have to be steel to be a street bike. But if thats the rules then so be it.

I'm really starting to hate the word 'weenie'.

Post more bikes.
